Job summary

Ascendia Law is expanding its network and seeks an experienced immigration attorney to collaborate on student visa matters (F-1/J-1, OPT) on a case-by-case basis as an independent contractor.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of U.S. student visa experience, a J.D. or LL.M. with bar admission, and is admitted in good standing in any state. Remote work from any U.S. state is possible, with a preference for Spanish speakers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience handling F-1, J-1, OPT student visa matters in the U.S.
• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school or LL.M. with bar admission.
• Admitted and in good standing in any U.S. state; authorized to work in the U.S.
• Spanish-speaking abilities are a plus.

We're expanding our network of trusted counsel and are seeking an experienced immigration attorney to collaborate with us on a case-by-case basis as an independent contractor.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in F-1 and J-1 visas, OPT, and related student visa matters for foreign students in the U.S.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, or an LL.M. with bar admission
• Admitted and in good standing in any U.S. state
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Spanish speaking is a plus
• South Florida resident is a plus, but the work can be done remotely from any U.S. state
