Sanabria & Associates, PLLC, a fast-growing law firm with offices in Maryland, Virginia, and Florida, seeks an immigration attorney for our Virginia location. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, team member, manager, and self-starter who can handle a fast-paced, high-volume practice.

The role requires managing day-to-day client interactions, supervising paralegals, meeting deadlines, and developing case strategies. Fluency in Spanish and an active VA bar license are required.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School.
• Active Bar License in Good Standing from VA.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Immigration experience (1 year or more).

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with prospective clients and evaluate eligibility for immigration relief.
• Develop and implement case strategies tailored to each client's immigration goals and circumstances.
• Manage a high-volume caseload while supervising paralegals and staff.
• Draft, review, and revise immigration applications, petitions, motions, and briefs.
• Perform comprehensive legal research and prepare persuasive written advocacy.
• Monitor developments in immigration law, regulations, and precedents.
• Represent clients in interviews, hearings, and immigration court proceedings.
• Cultivate client relationships and support business development initiatives.
• Participate in one Saturday consultation session per month.
• Develop expertise in Family-Based Immigration, SIJS, Asylum, U Visas, Waivers, and related relief.
