Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Immigration Attorney admitted to practice in California to join our San Jose office. The role involves managing a diverse caseload, advising clients, and collaborating with a team of attorneys and legal assistants to provide effective immigration services.

The ideal candidate has JD, 1-4 years in immigration law, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and a collaborative, client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years of experience in Immigration Law.

Responsibilities

• Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions.
• Represent individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Manage a workload of diverse cases.
• Conduct intake with detained individuals at centers.
• Prepare immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Review and adjust immigration applications/packets as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law changes.
• Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.
