Job summary
The Center for Integration and Advancement of New Americans (CIANA) is seeking an experienced attorney to provide immigration legal services in a community-based setting in Astoria, NY. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of immigration law experience, a JD from an accredited law school, and a passion for helping new immigrants.
Responsibilities include conducting legal consultations, managing caseloads, and representing clients in court. CIANA offers a competitive salary between $70,000 and $90,000, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
- Must have 3+ years’ experience practicing immigration law.
- Passed the NY Uniform Bar Exam, fully authorized to practice law in NY State.
- Experience in filing various forms of immigration relief.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal consultations/screenings and determine available relief.
- Schedule and confirm new appointments and maintain caseload.
- Represent clients in immigration and/or family court.
