Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Immigration Attorney in Walnut Creek, CA. The firm handles humanitarian relief, removal defense, family-based and adjustment work, requiring you to manage cases from start to finish.

You will collaborate with partners, manage complex filings, and maintain meticulous client communications throughout timelines. You will screen for relief, handle SIJS, prepare and file adjustment, removal of conditions, and naturalization applications, and draft briefs for

Qualifications

• Active U.S. bar license in good standing.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Immigration experience preferred but not required.
• Fluency in Turkish and English at professional levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of affirmative and defensive immigration cases from consultation through decision.
• Screen for humanitarian relief, withholding of removal, and CATI-589 filings.
• Handle SIJS matters, including state court hearings and subsequent filings.
• Prepare and file adjustment, removal of conditions, and naturalization applications.
• Draft briefs, pre-hearing statements, and respond to RFEs and NOIDs.
• Appear at master calendar and individual hearings at EOIR, and handle appeals to the BIA.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings, including cross-examinations.
• Direct paralegals in case preparation.
• Monitor critical deadlines and filing requirements.
