Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join our team in Miami, Florida. The Immigration Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in all aspects of immigration law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law and a passion for helping clients navigate the complex immigration process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in all aspects of immigration law, including but not limited to visa applications, green card applications, and citizenship applications

  • Conduct consultations with potential clients to assess their immigration needs and determine the best course of action

  • Prepare and file legal documents, such as petitions, applications, and motions, with the appropriate government agencies

  • Represent clients in immigration court proceedings, including bond hearings, removal proceedings, and appeals

  • Stay up-to-date on changes in immigration laws and policies and advise clients accordingly

  • Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other legal professionals on a regular basis

  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and document all client interactions

  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to clients

  • Participate in networking and business development activities to attract new clients and build relationships with existing clients

  • Adhere to ethical standards and follow all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

  • Active member of the Florida State Bar in good standing

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing immigration law

  • Strong understanding of immigration laws and procedures

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)
