Business Immigration Attorney

Are you a Texas attorney with a strong background in business immigration advising large employers? Would you enjoy the opportunity to work part time for a sophisticated Texas law firm? If so, this position may be a great fit for you.

Requirements for the Business Immigration Attorney:

• 5+ years of practice in the immigration practice group of a full-service corporate law firm, business immigration boutique firm (representing employers), or corporate legal department handling immigration matters
• Capable of working independently
• Experience with work and residence permits and visas, especially EB-5 and E-2 visas; investor visa experience preferred
• Active Texas law license and in good standing
• Resides in Texas
• Outstanding references

Position Details for the Business Immigration Attorney:

• Schedule: Part-time (approximately 25 hours a week)
• Start date: Immediate
• Duration: 4-6 months; possibly longer
• Location: Remote
• Compensation & Full Benefits: Highly competitive and commensurate with experience

Compensation

Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $155,000 to $185,000 on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference.

Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
