Job summary

Fragomen in Phoenix seeks a Business Immigration Associate to join a collaborative, client-focused team delivering strategic immigration solutions for corporate clients.

You will develop case strategies, counsel clients, and supervise junior staff while building deep expertise in non-immigrant and immigrant visa matters. This role emphasizes exceptional communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. JD or LLM required.
• Member of a US State bar or Washington DC bar association.
• 2–3 years of Associate-level experience in business immigration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Dedication to exceptional client service and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop case strategies, including researching, drafting, reviewing, counseling clients and triaging initiations.
• Regularly communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy.
• Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
• Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.
• Draft and prepare letters and legal documents.
• Proactively communicate with clients, within SLAs/team protocols.
• Directly or indirectly supervise junior Associates and other staff.
• Use firm technology accurately and enter data correctly.
• Participate in firm meetings and firmwide activities.
