Duties:
Represent clients in immigration proceedings, including asylum applications, deportation defense, and visa petitions.
Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and appeals.
Prepare clients for interviews, hearings, and court appearances.
Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and relevant stakeholders.
Stay up to date with changes in immigration laws and policies.
Assist with other legal matters as needed within the firm's practice areas.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to a state bar and in good standing.
Minimum of two years of experience in immigration law.
Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent legal degree.
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
