Job summary

YMCA of Greater New York seeks a New Americans Initiative Director for the Flushing YMCA to oversee program planning, data reporting, budgeting, and staff supervision. The role drives program growth and inclusive community impact within a busy urban branch.

The position requires supervisory experience, a relevant degree, and strong collaboration with local partners. A bilingual background is preferred; strong data and grant reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Three or more years of direct supervisory experience.
• Experience developing and managing budgets and hiring, training, supervising, and assessing personnel.
• Bilingual English and another language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement programs to meet participant needs and measure success.
• Lead data collection and reporting using databases (ASISTS, DYCD Connect, AS400, Salesforce).
• Supervise staff, set priorities, and foster staff development.
• Develop and grow partnerships with community groups and funders.
