Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking an Immersive Simulation Technician to support immersive simulation operations across labs. You will prepare and maintain equipment, assist learners and facilitators, and ensure simulations run smoothly.

Collaborate with the Lab Director, manage inventory, assist with props and moulage setup, and help develop scenarios for lab experiences. Requires a relevant diploma or certification and at least two years of clinical healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a diploma or certification related to healthcare.
• Two years of patient care experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and pharmacology.

Responsibilities

• Support operations to ensure all equipment runs properly.
• Provide technical support for immersive simulation systems and equipment.
• Assist faculty in using simulation equipment and prep for labs.
• Collaborate with Lab Director to maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Assist in props placement and moulage setup to create virtual healthcare settings.
• Develop scenarios used for simulation experiences.
