Job summary
The University of South Florida CAMLS Center seeks a Simulation Operations Specialist I to execute simulated education programs and provide technical and clinical support for experiential learning in Tampa, FL. This role emphasizes safety, equipment maintenance, and coordination of bioskills and patient simulation activities.
Minimum qualifications include a related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with CHSOS certification or eligibility within one year being advantageous.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to the discipline of work or 5 years of related experience.
- Experience with medical simulation operations, IT/AV, or clinical support.
- CHSOS certification or within one year of employment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate surgical bioskills programs, acting as scrub tech.
- Set up and breakdown of bioskills activities, including equipment sanitizing.
- Monitor and maintain inventory, supplies, and procurement for the simulation center.
- Coordinate and support life-like medical simulation scenarios including emergency medicine and patient care.
- Ensure safety and compliance with SSH Accreditation Standards and related policies.
