Job summary

The University of Utah Health Research seeks a Simulation Technology Specialist to join the CON Simulation Center on campus in Salt Lake City. You will support healthcare simulation technologies for multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include operating simulation equipment and AV systems, setting up manikins, moulage, recording events and assisting with OSCEs and interprofessional education sessions. This is a full-time, day-shift role (40 hours/week) with an hourly pay of $22, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years IT, medical tech, or simulation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to absorb technical details and work in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Customer service oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up simulation events including equipment, manikins, moulage, and audiovisual needs.
• Provide first-line technical support for multimedia systems and recording.
• Clean, reset, restock simulation rooms and manage supplies.
• Assist facilitators with multimedia systems and scenario turnover.
• Attend regular team meetings and contribute to projects.
