Blumenthal Arts is seeking an Immersive Specialist for a temporary, part-time role supporting immersive exhibitions at Blume Studios. You will guide guests, provide clear instructions, and perform basic troubleshooting to ensure a safe, engaging experience. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.

The role emphasizes strong guest interaction, technical aptitude, and the ability to respond quickly to issues while maintaining high presentation standards in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year in guest services or related field.
• Experience supporting technology-driven guest experiences preferred.
• Experience in immersive environments a plus.
• Clear communication with guests of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Operate immersive exhibitions per procedures and safety standards.
• Welcome and assist guests through the exhibition.
• Provide instructions and guidance before and during the experience.
• Answer guest questions about content, procedures, accessibility, and policies.
• Monitor spaces for safety and guest engagement.
• Assist guests needing additional support or accommodations.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of exhibit tech (software/hardware).
• Identify and resolve or escalate issues promptly.
• Assist with exhibit resets and equipment staging between sessions.
• Report malfunctions and safety hazards to the Immersive Lead.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of spaces.
• Follow operational and emergency procedures; assist in evacuations if directed.
