Parallel is hiring three full-time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologists for a school-based, fully remote assignment for the 2026–2027 year. Qualified SLPs licensed in TN/OH/WV/LA can join immediately and work 35 hours/week with ~55 students per clinician.

Compensation starts at $52/hour with W-2 options possible; sign-on bonus and onboarding stipend available. The role includes teletherapy to middle and high school students, state-specific services, and collaboration with school teams to develop

Work Location: Fully Remote

We are specifically looking for exceptional SLPs residing and licensed in Louisiana, West Virginia, Ohio, or Tennessee to support a growing need for telehealth services in TN. Because OH, WV, and LA are fully active ASLP-IC Compact states, expanding your practice into Tennessee is incredibly fast and affordable. Assignment at a Glance

• Role: Fully remote, school-based opportunity supporting middle and high school students
• Openings: 3 full-time positions available immediately
• Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday during regular school hours
• Caseload: Approximately 55 students per SLP (30-minute virtual therapy sessions)

Compensation

This is a 1099 opportunity starting at $52/hour, with compensation provided for both direct and indirect service time. W-2 options may also be available depending on active state licenses, weekly availability, and district needs.

What You’ll Do

• Provide student-centered, IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy sessions to middle and high school students.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations leveraging Parallel’s proprietary Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.
• Lead IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for “Speech Only” students.
• Partner with multidisciplinary school teams to design, monitor, and refine Individualized Education Programs.
• Systematically track session data and student progress, developing detailed, goal-oriented progress reports for each reporting cycle.
• Deliver specialized state‑specific services, including AAC support, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision as needed.

What You’ll Need (Qualifications)

• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP).
• Active SLP license in TN, OH, WV, or LA (Out‑of‑state applicants must be eligible for and willing to obtain a Tennessee ASLP‑IC Compact Privilege).
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a Tennessee Department of Education (TN DOE) credential.
• Minimum of 1 year of full‑time school‑based experience conducting IEP‑directed therapy and evaluations (post‑CFY). 2+ years of experience is preferred for case management assignments.
• Demonstrated expertise in the IEP process, educational eligibility determinations, and writing comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.
• Availability for 35 hours per week during standard school hours (Monday – Friday).
• Preferred: Prior experience with Medicaid billing systems.
