Job summary

HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced PCI Level II Concrete Inspector for an immediate project in Middlebury, Vermont. This short-term assignment requires mobilization now, with approximately 3 weeks remaining.

The inspector will perform quality assurance inspections of precast/prestressed concrete fabrication, verify conformance with drawings, project specs, and applicable standards, and maintain thorough inspection records.

Qualifications

• Must hold current PCI Level II certification.
• Experience performing precast/prestressed concrete inspection and QA.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
• Ability to begin assignment immediately and work in an active fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance inspection of precast and prestressed concrete fabrication.
• Verify fabrication activities comply with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Inspect reinforcing steel, prestressing materials, embedments, dimensions.
• Observe concrete placement and verify production and quality requirements.
• Monitor concrete testing and review test results.
• Inspect finished precast/prestressed components for dimensional accuracy and defects.
• Document nonconforming work and communicate findings to plant personnel and clients.
• Maintain organized inspection records and supporting documentation.
