Job Description

Essential Staffing Solutions is seeking dependable, hard-working, and self-motivated Apartment HVAC Certified Maintenance Technicians. The role involves repairing and maintaining apartment AC units and other property facilities such as electrical, plumbing, and appliances. The technician will also complete work orders for residents and collaborate with the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units for optimal performance.
• Repair major appliances like refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers.
• Perform electrical repairs, including switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
• Conduct plumbing repairs and replacements.
• Carry out carpentry work, lock repairs, or replacements.
• Complete make-ready/punch-out tasks on vacant units.
• Address work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Assist in renovation projects to improve property quality.
• Maintain community curb appeal through landscaping and exterior upkeep.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• HVAC and EPA certification required.
• Own tools are required.
• At least one year of experience in apartment maintenance or related fields.
• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC units.
• Experience with appliance repair, electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer service.
