Job summary

Right at Home Monterey Bay is hiring immediate openings for Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to help seniors and adults with disabilities. Join a company with over 25 years of experience and a mission to be essential in daily care.

You’ll work day or night shifts, earn competitive pay, and receive paid training, mileage reimbursement, and weekly pay. A valid driver’s license and background check are required; CNA/HHA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• English reading, writing, speaking and understanding as needed for the job.
• 1 year of caregiving experience (family or professional).
• Willing to commute to Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Watsonville, Soquel areas.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.
• Willing to complete onboarding paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care tasks.
• Assist with transferring/moving clients within the home.
• Limit housekeeping to 20% of duties, including cleaning and laundry.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, shaving.
• Medication reminders.
• Support range of motion exercises and dementia care.
• Provide companionship through activities like reading or music.
