Preferred Care at Home of Greater Huntsville/Birmingham is actively hiring experienced caregivers for immediate assignments in Huntsville, AL and surrounding areas. Interview from home with self-scheduled Zoom sessions.

Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available, with flexibility and a streamlined hiring process. Position requires CNA certification or 2+ years caregiving experience, valid driver’s license, and a background check.

Qualifications

• 2+ years caregiving experience or CNA certification.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass background screening.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting and incontinence care.
• Provide mobility support and transfers.
• Use assistive devices such as gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, or Hoyer lifts.
• Support fall prevention and general safety awareness.
• Reposition bedbound clients to prevent discomfort.
• Offer companionship and daily living assistance.
• Follow care plans and ensure client safety.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
