Endeavor Health Immediate Care in Bolingbrook is seeking experienced nurse practitioners or physician assistants for fast-paced, collaborative care in an IC setting. You will work at the top of your license, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and patient education, under physician supervision.

The role offers part-time or full-time opportunities with competitive pay ($65.00–$75.00 per hour) and a team-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• MSN for APRN licensure or PA certification (NCCPA).
• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department or Immediate Care experience.
• Current Illinois RN/APN license and related certifications (DEA, CPR).

Job Description

• Under the direction of collaborating physicians, provides care to patients.
• Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations, orders imaging, lab tests and diagnostic procedures and interprets results.
• Instructs patients on the prescribed therapeutic regimen.
• Maintains records and writes progress notes on status, treatments, and procedures.
• Follows patients through their course of treatment in the immediate care.
• Collaborates with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as appropriate.
• Demonstrates evidence-based practice.
• Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice in the specialty.
• Assesses the learning needs of patients and families across the continuum.
• Employs strategies, interventions and teaching to promote, maintain, and improve health.
• Works autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams.
• Positively contributes to safety outcomes and promotes high quality patient experiences.
• Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of service line goals.
• Supports the strategic plan of the organization.
• Adheres to all Endeavor Health policies and procedures.

Position Highlights

• EMR: EPIC
• Market Competitive Compensation. Full time/part time: $65-75 per hour experience rated. $70/hour for prn.
• Hours: Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Weekend/Holiday Rotation- Between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM

• Required travel: Travel to cover other Immediate Care sites in the geographic area where assigned.
• PRN positions require four shifts per month of availability (number of shifts scheduled will depend on availability of shifts).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing (MSN or MS) or NCCPA certified PA.
• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department or IC experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or PA required to be considered for the position.
• APRNS: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license and current Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse license, Illinois controlled substance license and DEA certification.
• Physician Assistants: IL PA license, IL controlled substance license, and DEA certification.
• Current CPR Certification issued by either the American Heart Association or Red Cross (must have an in-person component).
