Job Overview

Reporting to the IMM Supply Chain Manager, the IMM Inventory Control Specialist is accountable for executing daily cycle counts, ensuring all items are accurately counted and performed according to documented procedures, communicating and engaging effectively with DMS team members, and escalating and reporting issues appropriately.

Primary Accountabilities And Responsibilities

• Execute daily cycle counts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to documented procedures.
• Complete and report count documents in a timely manner.
• Document and report any non-conformance to material handling processes to the IMM Supply Chain Manager.
• Participate as a QRCI team member for variances greater than 5%.
• Assist in auditing and tracking permanent corrective action tasks.
• Review transaction reporting processes (Production, Transfers, Scrap) to ensure timely and accurate reporting of production activity.
• Audit production processes for compliance with reporting requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, providing input on build plans and actions.
• Support program requirements and upgrades.
• Contribute to maintaining processes and procedures for continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Education/Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Associate's Degree preferred, with a desire to pursue a career in Production Control / Supply Chain.
• Experience in industrial production environments (automotive preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and mathematical aptitude.
• Proficient in computer applications related to materials scheduling, planning, and inventory control.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Understanding of Injection Molding is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
