Job summary

Citizant seeks a seasoned Cloud Engineer to support the IMDS/MSM application for Air Force maintenance and readiness operations. You will design, secure, and automate cloud infrastructure to enable scalable, reliable service delivery in a DevSecOps environment blending legacy and modern tech.

The role emphasizes IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security, with responsibilities across deployment, monitoring, and documentation to sustain critical DoD workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of infrastructure, platform, systems, or cloud engineering experience.
• Experience deploying, managing, and supporting solutions within enterprise cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cloud One, or similar platforms).
• Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code and automation solutions.
• Experience supporting containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevSecOps processes within enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise application platforms, integrations, and deployment environments.
• Experience supporting applications utilizing COBOL, C#, Python, SQL, TypeScript, Angular, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, secure system design, and cloud security principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Local to Montgomery, AL.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions supporting IMDS/MSM.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation capabilities.
• Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevSecOps tooling supporting IMDS/MSM.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, testing, and release processes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and operational health.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls and compliance requirements.
• Support application modernization and system enhancement initiatives.
• Support deployment and operational requirements for applications utilizing COBOL, C#, Python, SQL, TypeScript, Angular, and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, deployment, integration, and operational issues.
• Collaborate with application developers, database engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and infrastructure teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational artifacts.
• Support cybersecurity compliance and vulnerability remediation efforts.
