Job summary

North Shore Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN to deliver high-quality nursing care in the IMCU/Step-down unit. You will assess, plan, and implement patient care while maintaining safety and comfort, under physician supervision and RN oversight.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, collaboration with the care team, and ongoing participation in quality improvement initiatives. Florida license and ACLS/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license (or pending).
• ACLS and BLS certifications in good standing.
• Two or more years of medical/surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan patient care using nursing process.
• Provide direct/indirect care in IMCU/Step-down unit.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians.
• Participate in performance improvement and CQI activities.
