Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Oregon
• BLS required by Bay Area Hospital
• ACLS required or obtained by the last day of the month after 6-month grace period

Responsibilities

• Identify and interpret cardiac rhythm strips and operate telemetry systems
• Assess patients across physical, psychosocial, and discharge planning needs
• Provide and document care per nursing care plan and coordinate with the team
• Administer medications and monitor for effectiveness/side effects
• Educate patients and families about illness, tests, medications and wellness
