Job summary

WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital is seeking a nursing student for a temporary position to practice in all nursing areas. The role is co-assigned with an RN and may provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.

Minimum qualifications include being in the final semester/year of an accredited RN program and obtaining Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire. Hours and duties align with unit needs and supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be entering final semester/year of Diploma/Associate or Baccalaureate RN program.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN in direct patient care to promote comfort and support diagnostic/treatment procedures.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living as needed.
• Perform designated procedures as directed by departmental procedures.
