Job summary

Advocate Health Care’s Aurora West Allis Medical Center IMCU in West Allis, WI is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM). The position supports 36 hours per week, 50% holidays, and every 3rd weekend.

The unit cares for moderately stable patients with elevated risk, requiring skilled nursing and teamwork. Qualified applicants will have completed an accredited nursing program, hold a valid RN license in Wisconsin, and possess BLS certification; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Registered Nurse license valid in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Build foundational skills through Preceptor directed orientation.
Provide care for intermediate acuity patients with acute and chronic conditions.
Coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
Develop collaborative relationships with a multi-disciplinary team.
Provide continuity of patient care through 12-hour shifts.
Contribute to delivery of high-quality, compassionate healthcare.
