Job summary

MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Maryland is seeking an experienced Intermediate Care (IMC) / Telemetry Registered Nurse for its 48-bed IMC/Medical-Surgical unit. This role targets nurse leaders with cross-training in telemetry and IMC patients, including chronic ventilator management and insulin drips.

Qualifications

• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Active MD RN license or active compact state RN.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated with other nursing team members.
