Job summary

MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is seeking an experienced Intermediate Care (IMC) / Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 48-bed unit. The role focuses on cross-training to care for telemetry and IMC patients, including those requiring chronic ventilator management and cardiac drips.

Our Charge RNs provide mentorship and clinical guidance with flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth. A current MD RN license plus BLS are required; ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL are all acceptable.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
• Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.
