Job summary

MedStar Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for our Intermediate Care (IMC) unit. You’ll deliver patient-first, evidence-based care to acutely ill adults requiring close monitoring and telemetry.

You’ll precept and mentor staff, contribute to quality and safety initiatives, and support patient and family education within a collaborative, mission-driven environment across Maryland–Washington, DC region.

Qualifications

• Experienced Registered Nurse for IMC unit.
• Experience with telemetry and acutely ill adults.
• Strong assessment and care coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-first, evidence-based care to acutely ill adults requiring close monitoring and telemetry.
• Perform comprehensive assessment and medication administration.
• Develop and update care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Precept and mentor staff and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.
• Support patient and family education.
