Job summary

Qualifications

• Maryland CNA certification current (CNA-I or CNA-II).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• High School diploma or GED completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses by gathering patient data through observation, obtaining vital signs, and performing point-of-care testing.
• Perform routine patient care procedures safely and competently.
• Ensure timely communication and documentation, including reporting significant patient changes to nursing staff.
• Provide frequent rounding and fall prevention interventions; remain with high‑risk patients when needed.
• Support patient flow through timely admissions, transfers, and discharges, including documentation and removal of IV locks.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to support a positive and efficient care environment.
