Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Permanent IMC MedSurgical RN who is passionate about delivering the highest level of patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated healthcare team, where you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse range of patients in a MedSurgical setting. You will play a critical role in patient and family education, IV therapy, nursing process, clinical documentation (EHR), delegation & team collaboration, cultural & psychosocial support, and monitoring for treatment response/side effects. This position requires ACLS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

1. Providing comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to a diverse patient population in a MedSurgical setting.
2. Effectively educating patients and their families about their health conditions and the treatments they will receive.
3. Administering IV therapy and monitoring patients for treatment response and side effects.
4. Utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
5. Accurately documenting patient information and clinical data in electronic health records (EHR).
6. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, coordinated care.
7. Providing cultural and psychosocial support to patients and their families.
8. Participating in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a MedSurgical setting.
2. Current and valid RN license.
3. Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
4. Proficiency in patient and family education, IV therapy, nursing process, clinical documentation (EHR), delegation & team collaboration, cultural & psychosocial support, and monitoring for treatment response/side effects.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
8. Commitment to providing the highest level of patient care and improving patient outcomes.
