Job summary

Jobot is seeking an IMC MedSurgical RN to deliver high-quality bedside care to adult patients in a fast-paced intermediate care/med-surg setting. You will perform assessments, monitor conditions, administer medications, and educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, thorough EMR documentation, and support for post-op and chronic disease

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• ACLS preferred; experience in acute-care MedSurg setting is valued.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and patient education are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct bedside care to adult MedSurg patients, including assessments, vitals, and monitoring changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders and hospital protocols.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Follow strict infection control, safety, and quality standards to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate patient status and care needs clearly.
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring smooth transitions of care.
