Job summary

Lincoln County Public Hospital District 1 is seeking a PRN Imaging X-Ray Technician to perform routine radiographic procedures and provide safe, courteous patient care. The role requires 12-hour shifts with on-call duties and adherence to ALARA radiation safety practices.

Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, integrating prior studies, and maintaining accurate EMR/PACS records. Washington state licensure and BLS are required; on-call availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered radiologic technologist licensed in the State of Washington.
• Current BLS certification.
• Completion of X-Ray Technology Seminar (48 hrs).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous and efficient patient care.
• Perform routine radiographic procedures to produce diagnostic images.
• Prepare, supply and equip exam room to meet exam needs and physician requirements.
• Integrate prior imaging and patient history to optimize exams.
• Conduct exams with appropriate infection control and radiation safety (ALARA).
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR and PACS.
• Participate in on-call scheduling and respond within 20 minutes.
