Job summary

Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center is seeking a PRN Imaging X-Ray Technician to perform radiographic procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort. The role requires 12-hour shifts with on-call availability and adherence to ALARA standards to minimize exposure.

Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, reviewing prior studies, and maintaining accurate patient records in EMR/PACS while providing education to patients.

Qualifications

• Registered X-Ray Technician with state licensure.
• Minimum 80 hours in-house training and X-Ray Technology Seminar (48 hrs).
• Current BLS upon hire and duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, supply and equip exam room to meet specific physician requirements.
• Organize daily work schedule and perform related clerical duties.
• Integrate prior imaging studies with patient history and medical records.
