Job summary

ProHealth Care in Wisconsin is seeking a patient transporter and imaging assistant to support the patient experience during radiology exams. You will greet patients, transport them, coordinate exams, and assist technologists with workflow.

The role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols; CNA preferred and BLS certification encouraged. We offer a collaborative work environment and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate passion for customer service and assist within the department.
• Resolve sensitive issues privately, involve supervisor if needed.
• Answer multi-line calls professionally and relay messages.
• Support technical staff by coordinating pre-exam preps and communicating patient information or scheduling issues.
• Safely transport patient to and from radiology department using appropriate transport equipment.
• Assist technologist with room preparation and patient positioning.
• Transport supplies and equipment; deliver items to appropriate areas or staff.
• Stock linen and consumables; maintain inventory and check for outdated supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment and rooms daily or after use.
