Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-rays and other imaging procedures under supervision. You will position patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure minimal radiation exposure while maintaining high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires readiness to follow physician instructions, communicate with patients to ease anxiety, and complete accurate documentation. ARRT (R) certification and CPR are required for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of radiology, imaging or related program.
• ARRT (R) certification and CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Follow physician instructions on imaging areas.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and improve understanding.
• Position patients and adjust imaging equipment to get quality images.
• Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Apply correct techniques and patient shielding.
• Complete documentation for each procedure to maintain patient records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
