Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center is seeking an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist to perform procedures using ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Opportunity for PRN shifts and growth into CT and MRI, with fully funded training by HCA Healthcare.

Responsibilities include imaging in radiology, portable exams, and C-arm procedures, while providing compassionate patient care in a family-like environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer or RT-Pract or related degree must be completed within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient with the proper procedure and high-quality images to aid diagnosis.
• Perform imaging procedures in radiology, portable exams, and C-arm procedures.
• Schedule, plan, implement, and complete service requests with a compassionate environment.
• Maintain knowledge of growth and development and applicable treatments for patient groups.
• Stay up to date on current techniques and procedures.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist at our facility, you will performprofessional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment,ingenuityand initiative. In this role:

• You willbe responsible forprovidingthepatient,the proper procedurewith excellent quality images toassistthe physician in the diagnosis of the patient’s condition or health complaint.

• You will perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department as well as portable exams andc-armprocedures throughout the hospital.

• You will be responsibletoschedule, plan,implementandcompletethe request for service andprovidea friendly and compassionate environment in keeping with the "care like family" mission of the hospital.

• You willpossessknowledge of growth anddevelopment;andhaveanunderstandingoftherange of treatment needed for these patient groups.

• You willbe responsibleforstayingup todateofcurrent techniques and procedures.

Opportunities for Growth:

We offer accelerated development programs to support colleagues with career advancement into both CT and MRI. These training programs are fully funded by HCA Healthcare, and selected colleagues complete and are paid for clinical hours during regular shifts.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date

• (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date

• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RT-Pract) Radiology Practical Technician, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
