Requirements include NJ licensure as Radiology Technologist and MA-R, ARRT (R), and BLS certification. Strong record-keeping and safety culture are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• Current State of NJ Licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Current State of NJ licensure as Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) within 90 days of hire.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for imaging tests based on physicians' orders and department protocols.
• Prepare patient and perform radiology procedures.
• Maintain records and logs per department protocols and licensure requirements.
• Perform incidental general office duties (phone, scheduling, filing, records).
• Follow safety procedures and respond to emergencies as needed.
