NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is seeking an Imaging Technologist to perform MRI procedures and support radiologists in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires NYS DOH X-ray license, ARRT certification, and graduation from an accredited radiology program, with preferred ARRT Advanced Modality and 1 year of experience. This is a part-time, Saturday shift based at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Department of Health X-ray License.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute MRI exams.
• Assist radiologists and physicians during exams.
• Assess patient condition and ensure safety standards.

In this role, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of primarily MRI services. You'll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This position will primarily cover MRI.

This is a part-time position, working every Saturday 6:30am - 9:00pm. This position will cover Brooklyn Methodist Hospital (BMH) inpatient and outpatient services, and Center for Community Health (CCH) coverage as needed.

Preferred Criteria

• N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
• ARRT Advanced Modality certification
• At least 1 year of experience
