This co-op experience emphasizes safety, accuracy, and patient care as you practice within licensure requirements. Participants must be enrolled in an approved imaging program and complete the required credentials, including Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• Must meet all requirements of the internship/training program.
• Currently enrolled in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasound.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures under supervision of Medical Imaging team.
• Adhere to professional practice standards and program guidelines.
• Work within licensure requirements for the chosen modality.

Summary

Perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of Medical Imaging team members, performs imaging procedures utilizing the guidelines of the professional practice standards of specific modalities the co-op experience is in. Perform procedures according to requirements of clinical program they are enrolled in and practices within the licensure requirements for given imaging modality.
