Description

In this role, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of MR, X-Ray, and CT procedures. You will have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff, and assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include assessing patient condition, producing high-quality radiographic images, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

This is a full-time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, covering X-ray, CT, and MR services:

• Tuesday 10:30pm - 8:00am
• Wednesday 10:30pm - 8:00am
• Friday 10:30pm - 8:00am
• Saturday 11:00pm - 8:00am

Preferred Criteria:

• N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
• ARRT Advanced Modality certification - MR and/or CT

Required Criteria:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
• Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements
• N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
• At least 1 year of experience in the area of service
