Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist (RT) supports patient care at UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care by performing X-ray examinations and related procedures under provider supervision. You will ensure proper positioning, compliance with safety standards, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include maintaining QA logs, collaborating with the clinical team, and preparing patients for imaging while ensuring comfort and safety across all ages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT registration required at the time of hire.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations for patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with providers and medical assistants on patient care and imaging orders.
• Maintain medical records and QA/QC logs for equipment.
• Adhere to radiation safety practices and ALARA principles.
• Prepare patients for examinations and ensure proper positioning and comfort.
