Qualifications

  • Certified BLS Provider and Radiologic Technologist credentials required.
  • 3+ years of imaging experience, preferably in CT.

+ Department: Computerized Tomography

+ Schedule: Part Time Evenings - 20 hours per week. This associate will work a varied, second shift schedule as determined by the department need. This will include rotating weekends and holidays.

+ Hospital: Ascension St Francis Hospital

+ Location: Milwaukee, WI

Benefit options and eligibility vary by position. Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of radiographic procedures used in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries. May also perform specialized imaging services.

  1. Position patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  2. Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
  3. Prepare, perform and assist the physician in special/advanced procedures.
  4. Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  1. Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  2. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced certification for Mammography or CT preferred; Advanced certification for MRI within 24 months of hire preferred. ARRT breast ultrasound certification preferred.
  3. Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the state of Wisconsin obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  1. High School diploma required.
  2. Graduation from a JRCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology preferred.

Work Experience:

  1. Minimum of three (3) years Imaging experience required.

Additional Preferences

  1. Candidates with 2-3+ years of prior CT experience are preferred.
