Department: Computerized Tomography (CT)

Shift Timings: 08:00 - 18:30, Monday to Friday (4 Days/10 Hours)

Location: Milwaukee, WI, 53211 - Onsite

Contract Duration: 3 months+

Experience Level: 1-3 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
• Positioning patients appropriately to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions accurately.
• Administering radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluating CT scans for technical quality.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BLS certification
• ARRT CT certification
• WI License

Additional Details:

• No call required; Weekends on a 7/70 rotation, every other weekend; Holidays worked if within rotation.
• Experience in busy ED or profusion is a plus.
• May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
