Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; preferred healthcare exposure.
• BLS/Heartsaver CPR with AED certification within 30 days of hire.
• Imaging Aide for DEXA requires 16 hours bone densitometry training; 4 hours radiation safety annually.
• One year of healthcare experience or enrollment in Radiologic Technology program; basic Windows and email skills; ability to follow instructions and perform math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist imaging technologist in performing examinations within Imaging Department scope.
• Communicate patient needs to staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain imaging suites with adequate supplies and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Enter physician orders, coordinate diagnostic schedules, and support PACS/RadNet operations.
• Support patient education and care documentation per hospital policies.
