Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an Imaging Aide to assist technologists in performing examinations within the Imaging Department. You will support diagnostic imaging, interact with staff to meet patient needs in a fast-paced setting, and ensure supplies in imaging suites are well stocked.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED (preferred) and BLS Heartsaver CPR with AED within 30 days of hire. Healthcare experience or enrollment in Radiologic Technology is valued.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or GED (preferred).
• Certification: BLS Heartsaver CPR with AED within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: 1 year in healthcare setting or enrolled in accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations in customer service.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care under Radiology Tech supervision, following department policies.
• Assists in planning and implementing patient care and documents in the medical record.
• Maintains stock of linen and medical and clerical supplies; supports computer-based applications (PACS, RadNet).
• Answers departmental phones and verifies information to resolve issues.
• Ensures safety and adherence to Memorial Hermann policies within budget and time constraints.
• Supports professional growth and serves as a resource to less experienced staff.
