Harborview Medical Center in Seattle seeks an experienced radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and educate patients and families before and after procedures. You will operate radiographic equipment, protect patients, and collaborate with radiologists and physicians.
Under UW Medicine, Harborview offers varied imaging services and expects adherence to safety standards, with on-call duties possible as needed.
90%fte / 36 hours per week Monday - Thursday 0800 - 1730
Under the direction of the Radiology Supervisor, Lead Technologist, Radiologist, or other Physician, this individual will perform skilled radiographic procedures that assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients. Additionally, the person in this role will provide the appropriate education to patients and their families prior to and post Radiology procedure and exercises responsible judgment in recognizing and reporting significant situations relating to patient care.
Advanced diagnostic imaging, specialized clinical expertise. Radiology Services at Harborview Medical Center offers a full complement of radiology tests and imaging procedures, including nuclear medicine and interventional radiology (angiography).
