Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented Imaging Technician to join our Media & Archive Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for image asset migration (digitization), restoration, remediation, and reformatting of historic visual media within a digital studio environment.

You will work with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate data capture, equipment calibration, and timely delivery, while maintaining secure archiving procedures and compliant chain-of-custody records.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience handling historic analog/digital visual formats and digitization.
• Strong knowledge of media archiving, metadata identification, scanners, and software tools including Photoshop, Photo Mechanic, Adobe Acrobat, FileMaker, and Lightroom.
• Proven ability in technical troubleshooting, quality control, and time management for high-volume projects.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Digitize, restore, remediate, and reformat historic analog and digital 2D visual media with detailed project logs, asset tracking, and archival reports.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Studio Managers, and clients to manage technical information exchange, equipment calibration, and final service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with secure physical and electronic file delivery standards, chain-of-custody protocols, and proper digital archiving procedures.
