Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated
- Assess the patient's condition and medical history to ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed.
- Perform a wide range of CT examinations, including but not limited to: head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.
- Operate CT scanning equipment proficiently, adjusting parameters to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
- Perform post-processing techniques, such as multiplanar reconstructions (MPR), volume rendering, and 3D imaging.
- Ensure proper image identification and labeling.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated
Imaging Technologist II - CT Scanner who is responsible for performing a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, CT imaging principles, radiation safety, and patient positioning. The Imaging Technologist II will work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic information.

Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department is required.
- Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school or BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA approved school.
- Cross-training in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography is required.
- ARRT (national) license is required.
- CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification.
- Certification in one modality is required.
- Fire Safety card. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
