Job summary

Kettering Health Network is seeking an Imaging Tech Assistant to support imaging technologists by preparing patients, maintaining equipment and exam rooms, and assisting with imaging procedures to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to regulatory standards, and contributing to workflow in the imaging department, with additional duties as assigned in alignment with the network's mission and B Safe program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably radiology or imaging services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Supports imaging technologists by preparing patients, maintaining equipment and exam rooms, and assisting with imaging procedures to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
• Contributes to patient safety, access, and operational reliability by adhering to regulatory standards and supporting workflow in the imaging department.
• Performs other duties as assigned. All responsibilities align with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.
